BACKGROUND

  • Chicago real estate developer introducing Cleveland’s most vibrant, urban, mixed-use project

  • Eating establishments to include an all-day café, a sports bar, a shared-plates lounge and an upscale event space

  • Phased opening and phased staffing of all four establishments over a 4-month period

SCOPE

  • Ensure employer is properly set-up to hire W-2 employees and process payroll in Ohio

  • Build sustainable HR infrastructure to be used without investing in local, in-house HR staff

  • Assist client in establishing itself as an employer of choice to attract top talent in a competitive labor market

  • Partner with CFO of parent company to ensure corporate processes/systems support local needs

  • Conducted HR needs assessment in conjunction with corporate and local teams
